Renovation Notice: From November 2008 to October 2009, Le Meridien Port Vila Resort will undergo refurbishment. Work will be confined to one wing at a time, leaving the other wing free from interruption. Work hours will take place Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12 PM. Guests may take advantage of makeover specials during this time. The redevelopment works at Le Meridien's Palm Casino will take place from mid January 2009 onwards and during this time the Palms Casino will relocate to the lower ground floor in the Erakor Ballroom overlooking the Terrace Pool. Gala Dinner:
The hotel will host a mandatory Christmas Lunch and New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on December 25, 2008 and December 31, 2008. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. The lunch compulsory charge for Christmas is AUD 105 + 12.5% VAT per adult and 50% discount for children 2 - 12 years. The New Year's Eve is AUD140 + 12.5% VAT per adult and 50% discount for children 2 - 12 years. This charge does not include beverages or VAT and is not included in the room rate and is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.
