Armand's Orchard Side Inn is located in the rural community of Lewistown, Maine, surrounded by rolling hills and a picturesque, family-owned apple orchard. The inn is less than five miles from Bates College. The Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, a 325-acre wildlife preserve that offers forested hiking trails, is less than six miles away.

Built in 1984, this log cabin features two decks and a porch overlooking six acres of rolling lawns. Complimentary full breakfasts, including blueberry pancakes, pastries and homemade orchard granola, are served each morning in the dining room or on the decks. Complimentary wireless and high-speed wired Internet access is provided, and a printer, scanner and photocopy machine are available in the library. The inn offers a book and movie collection. The great room features 20-foot vaulted ceilings, two skylights, a wood-burning brick fireplace, a big-screen television and a stocked bar area. Walking paths wind around the property and apple orchard, and a pond serves as home to fish and frogs. Pets are not allowed at this property.
