The Atholl Palace Hotel is located in parklands overlooking Pitlochry, Scotland, 500 metres from the Blair Atholl whisky distillery and one mile from the town centre. Pitlochry railway station is one mile away.
Hotel Features.
The hotel was opened as a spa in Victorian times and retains the traditional feel and splendour of a Scottish baronial stately home. The lobby features red and gold carpets and a log fireplace, while modern facilities include complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. There is also a spa offering a range of holistic treatments, and the formal gardens contain an arboretum with many rare specimen trees.
The Verandah restaurant at Atholl Palace serves modern Scottish dishes and features stunning views of the Tummel valley. Whiskies can be enjoyed in the oak- panelled Stagshead Bar, which also serves snacks. The full Scottish breakfast is complimentary.
Conference facilities include meeting rooms, a screening room, the 300-capacity Atholl Suite, and an event management team.

Driving Directions
From Edinburgh Airport (EDI):
Distance to Atholl Palace Hotel is 65 miles, approximately 70 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
An airport shuttle bus run into Edinburgh centre and from Waverley railway station trains run to Pitlochry. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around 70 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
Pitlochry town is one mile from the hotel and is easily explored on foot. A car is recommended for the surrounding Scottish countryside.
Driving directions.
From Edinburgh and the airport follow signs for Forth Road Bridge, Perth and Inverness.
From the A9 take the A924 for Pitlochry.
After the Blair Athol Distillery on the right continue under the railway bridge and turn right into the hotel entrance.
