From Newcastle International Airport (NCL):
Distance to the City Apartments Newcastle - Quayside is 8 miles, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The metro connects the airport with the centre of Newcastle and guests should alight at either Central Station or Mannors for the City Apartments. Trains depart every seven minutes and the fare is 2 GBP for a single journey. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and cost about 30 GBP to the Quayside Apartments. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
An efficient and inexpensive metro system serves Newcastle, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, and Sunderland. Bus services operate within the city centre, and ferries run every 30 minutes to North and South Shields.

Continue onto the A696 and enter Newcastle Upon Tyne.

At Kenton Bar Roundabout take the second exit onto Ponteland Road (A167) for Newcastle City Centre.
At Harehills Roundabout take the second exit onto Ponteland Road (A167).
At Springfield Roundabout take the third exit onto Ponteland Road (A167).
At Springfield Roundabout take the third exit onto Ponteland Road (A167) for City Centre.
At Ponteland Road roundabout take the first exit onto the A167.
Keep in the right hand lane and then continue forward onto the A167(M) for City Centre, East and South.
