Getting around.
Chesterfield is small and easy to explore on foot. There is also a bus service which runs around the town and out to neighbouring areas. Chesterfield train station, which links to the rest of the UK, is 500 yards from the hotel. A car is recommended for exploring more of the Derbyshire countryside.
Driving directions. From junction 29 of the M1, take the second exit at the roundabout onto the A617 to Chesterfield. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and at the next roundabout, take the second exit. Follow the road to the town centre. At the traffic lights. get into the right-hand lane and follow the road round. At the next traffic lights, move into the left-hand lane and follow the road round to the mini roundabout. Take the first exit, signposted Barlow (B6051). Buckinghams Hotel is 800 yards along the road on the right, just after the zebra crossing.
