From Zurich Airport (ZRH):
Distance to The Hotel is 80 kilometres, approximately 70 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The airport's Swiss Federal Railways Station is located beneath terminal B. S2 and S16 trains run every 10 minutes to Zurich city centre at peak times. The journey time is about 10 minutes and single tickets cost 5.80 CHF. Trains run to Lucerne. The Hotel is located in the centre of Lucerne. Taxis wait outside arrivals, and cost approximately 50 CHF (35 EUR) to the city centre. There is a bus terminal next to car park B, with 11 bus lines running to towns and villages across the region. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
The Hotel is located in central Lucerne. The lake area and the Old Town, just opposite the train station are best explored on foot, but some of the best views of Lucerne and the surrounding area can be seen from a boat. Valet parking is available at the hotel.
Driving directions.
From Zurich Airport (ZRH):
Take the A2 to the Lucerne exit and head into the left- hand lane for Verkehrshaus/Kussnacht.
Follow the road round to the left at Pilatusplatz into Pilatustrasse.
Turn right at the Hotel Astoria into Winkelriedstrasse.
Take the next left into Murbachserstrasse, and cross Hirschmattstrasse. At the next crossroads, the hotel is on the right after the park.
