From Girona Airport (GRO):
Distance to Hotel Cap Roig is 30 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
Hotel Cap Roig provides airport transport for a surcharge. Buses run from outside of arrivals (exit the building and turn left) to Girona bus station, which is located behind the train station. Buses leave every hour daily. Journey time is about 25 minutes and cost is 1.95 EUR for a single ticket. There are also three Ryanair buses that serve the Costa Brava beach resorts. These bus companies have information desks in arrivals near the car rental offices. Airport transfers are available from Girona Airport to Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar, Blanes, Malgrat de Mar, Santa Susanna, Pineda de Mar or Calella hotel starting around 10 EUR per person. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals side of the building. Cost is approximately 20 EUR to Girona city centre.
Getting around. Girona's old town is compact and easily explored on foot. There are many narrow, steep alleyways and lanes to be enjoyed throughout the city. RENFE trains connect the city to the rest of Spain. The coastal towns in this area are compact and easily explored by foot.
