- Overlooking the waterfront promenade and the busy harbour, Las Palmeras is a large resort hotel located in the centre of Fuengirola, just 200 metres from the beach. Modern and simply decorated, the 400 air-conditioned guestrooms all have furnished balconies and are equipped with satellite television and direct-dial telephones. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner. Guests can take a cooling dip in the outdoor pool and soak up the sunshine on the surrounding terraces while enjoying views of the marina, perhaps with a drink from the poolside bar. The nearest airport is Malaga, 25 kilometres and about a 25-minute drive away. Trains run between the airport and Fuengirola every 30 minutes (journey time 30 minutes). A taxi between the airport and the hotel costs around 35 EUR.
