- The Vilalara Thalassa Reosrt is a spa hotel set amidst 30 acres of tropical gardens on the Algarve coast, four kilometres from Aqualand water park. This hotel consists of several two-storey buildings scattered amid lush gardens, and features 131 suites decorated simple blue, yellow and green decor with light oak wood furniture and carpet or ceramic tile floors. Suites open onto furnished balconies with views of the hotel gardens, and come equipped with air conditioning, satellite television and minibars. Sun-worshippers can spend the day sipping cocktails by one of the five swimming pools, one of which is heated all year round, or head down to the private beach to enjoy a spot of sea swimming. Guests can take a stroll through the lush gardens, while the hotel offers a programme of daytime and evening activities and excursions including sporting pursuits and live entertainment. Relaxation comes in the form of a range of spa treatments including facials, wraps, stone therapy, shiatsu, and deep tissue massage. Driving Directions
- Taxis and buses can be caught from outside the terminal building. AEROBUS provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service (on request), payable directly to the driver. Driving directions: From the airport follow signs for Portimao on the A22 highway. Follow the highway until Alcantarilha / Armação de Pera. Exit 7 at Alcantarilha / Armação de Pera. Follow signs for Portimao / Lagos on the N125. After approximately 5 kilometres turn left towards Armação de Pera / Porches and follow the signs for the hotel. Turn right and the hotel is at the end of the cul de sac on the right.
