The Hotel Le Fint is located in Ouarzazate, the "Door of the Desert", Morocco, opposite the Kasbah Taourirt. The tourist and shopping district is one kilometre from the hotel, while Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ) is five kilometres away.
Hotel Features.
The Hotel Le Fint is a modern two-storey property inspired by traditional Arabic- Andalusian architecture. The terracotta-coloured buildings are arranged around a courtyard with an open- air swimming pool, a fountain and a garden. The interior is decorated with colourful wall tiles, wrought iron and traditional coloured glass. There is a fountain on the terrace. Some of the windows are made traditionally from coloured glass. The hotel features a television room and Internet access.
The Hotel Le Fint's restaurant and bar affords views of the Kasbah Taourirt and is decorated in traditional Arabic style. The menu offers Moroccan and French dishes, served either inside the restaurant or outside on the terrace during fine weather.
The hotel offers access to the tennis courts of Residence Karam, 100 metres away. The nearest golf course is 20 kilometres from the hotel.
Guestrooms.
The 74 air-conditioned bedrooms feature a warm red, orange and off-white colour scheme. The decor and furniture utilise traditional materials including wood, granite and wrought iron. The tiled floors are covered with handmade Moroccan rugs. All rooms are equipped with televisions and telephones and extend to balconies. Terracotta-tiled bathrooms have bathtubs and bathrobes. The hotel offers half-board rates.
Expert Tip.
The well-preserved kasbah of Ait Benhaddou is worth a visit, having served as the backdrop for many famous films, including Lawrence of Arabia. Ouarzazate is also a useful base for trips into the desert.

Distance to Hotel Le Fint is five kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The best way to get to the hotel is by petit taxi, a small local taxi. The fare is about 30 MAD. There are direct flights between Paris and Ouarzazate, but most flights arrive at Ouarzazate Airport after transfers in Casablanca, Agadir or Marrakesh. Travellers who do not want to transfer to another flight can take the bus to Ouarzazate or share a grand taxi with up to four passengers. The nearest airport to Ouarzazate of the three is Marrakesh Menara Airport.
Getting around. Getting around Ouarzazate is best done on foot or by petit taxi. The main roads in the south are covered by regular buses and grand taxis. On other roads, local Berber trucks or Land Rovers and transit taxis run a bus-type service, charging standard fares for their trips. The surrounding area can be explored by car, but petrol stations might not always be found easily.
