- The Le Prince Maurice is a beachfront resort consisting of traditional-style huts set in tropical gardens and overlooking a calm turquoise lagoon. The resort features 76 thatched roof suites, all of which have themed spice route décor, with vibrant colours and rich dark wood furniture. A gangplank leads through mangrove trees to the unique floating restaurant, Le Barachois, which serves grills, seafood and Mauritian specialities. The hotel's L'Archipel Restaurant serves light, spicy gourmet cuisine on alfresco terraces overlooking the pool and beach. Exotic cocktails and drinks are served alfresco in Laguna Bar, with has charming views of the sea.
