Location.
The Baros Maldives resort comprises 75 self- contained wooden villas, surrounded by tropical greenery and coconut palms, and situated on a private island. The city of Male and Male International Airport (MLE) are 16 kilometres from the resort, and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes by speedboat.
Hotel Features.
Guests can enjoy complete relaxation at the onsite spa, with treatments including Swedish massages, body wraps, and tropical fruit facials. The four private spa suites offer steam rooms and waterfall plunge pools. The resort offers a villa dining service, which allows guests to eat inner on the beach, at a secluded sandbank, or in their own villa. The resort's two bars serve a range of tropical juices and cocktails. Guests can take part in organised excursions, which include a sunrise picnic, island hopping, or a seaplane flight.
Baros Maldives has three restaurants: the Lime Restaurant is next to the lagoon and serves Oriental dishes, the Cayenne Grill offers al fresco dining with grilled meats and seafood, and the multi-tiered Lighthouse Restaurant serves modern Mediterranean and Asian dishes. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served to guests each morning.
Snorkelling excursions, scuba diving lessons and fishing trips are organised at the resort, and water sports on offer include water skiing and windsurfing. There are facilities on site for games of table tennis and pool, and guests are entitled to complimentary use of the resort's snorkelling equipment.

Baros Maldives Resort has 75 stand- alone villas situated on stilts above the lagoon or directly on the beach.
