- La Palazzina a former hunting lodge dating back 1720, was commissioned by a wealthy Sienese family for family and friends reunions. It is surrounded by a park of holm-oak and cypress trees, set on a hill at a height of 500 meters. Today 'La Palazzina' is a refined residence, furnished as a private tuscan villa, open to friends and high expextations world travellers. With its nicely tuscan styled bedrooms, its gardens, its landscapes, panoramic swimmingpool and the tipycal cuisine, it guarantees a lovely relax stay under all circumstances. Interior decor with pieces from the 1800's and early 1900's, what we would call 'Arte Povera'. On the ground floor lounge and restaurnat with fireplaces, whilst on the first floor you will experience the nice and restful old-aged wrought-iron beds, in the old tuscan contest of comfortable double bedded rooms, all with private bathrooms with shower .
Driving Directions
- It s very easy to reach 'La Palazzina'. By Car Motorway AUTOSTRADA A1 MILANO-ROMA, either from north or from south, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Passed the toll-gate/peage turn left direction Sarteano, and then following the road to Radicofani. After 15/16 Km from Sarteano there is a junction to the left indicating 'CELLE SUL RIGO, SAN CASCIANO DEI BAGNI and also LA PALAZZINA' turn left there and after driving for 1,6 Km on your right hand side it is marked 'LOCANDA AGRITURISTICA FATTORIA LA PALAZZINA' turn right there along a nice double lane of centuries old cypresses and after 300 meters you will enter the gates of this nicely and quietly positioned villa......HAVE A NICE STAY in Val d'Orcia and at La Palazzina
