- The Barsalini's family has been engaged in the restaurant and in the hotel's management for 30 years and they care for their guests themselves. Every year the owner do restorings works to mantein a good look. The hotel is composed by several buildings with different features. Most of the rooms are indipendent from the main building, where are the restaurant, the reception-hall and a coffee. All rooms have the bathroom with shower and phon, fridge, Tv/SAT, telephone, balcony, almost all with sea view. For big families , we have large rooms suite with different rooms and several beds. The swimmingpool with whirpool is surrounded by careful gardens. In the restaurant, managed by the owners, you can taste delicious dishes especially on fish ground. Breakfast is served on the proper Terrasse faced to the sea. Children find a special service because the kitchen is always ready to work to meet their requirements. The Barsalini Hotel, in the summery period, organizes evenings of piano-bar.
Driving Directions
- Our hotel lies at the end of the street that leads to the Sant'Andrea beach. Sant'Andrea lies on the northern coast of Elba, 30 km. far from Portoferraio, the main town and harbour of the island. To reach our hotel you have to follow the provincial road from Portoferraio crossing the villages of Procchio and Marciana Marina. At Marciana Marina take the road up, in the middle of beautiful chestnut woods, direction Marciana. After this village follow simply the magnificent panoramic road for a few km until the crossing for Sant'Andrea. Just drive down direction beach, at the end of the road, on the little place in front of the sea you find our hotel.
