Driving Directions
Getting there. Buses run from the airport to Naples train station and the port (Piazza Municipio), and also to Sorrento. Take the train to Salerno, which is 20 kilometres from Maiori. Taxis are also available from the airport. The seaside town of Maiori is easily explored on foot. Local buses connect to other towns along the coast. A hire car would be useful for trips further afield. Car rentals are available online.
