The Villa Galilee is a boutique hotel located at the top of Mount Canaan in the town of Safed, Israel, within 10 kilometres of the Sea of Galilee and one kilometre of Safed city centre. Safed train station is located one kilometre from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
The Villa Galilee is built in a Provencal, French boutique style, with wicker furniture and French Impressionist paintings offset by oak and mahogany wood. The hotel is set amid the forest and mountains of Mount Canaan and is encircled by the Sea of Galilee. Villa Galilee offers a range of massage treatments and body wraps in the health spa.
A complimentary Israeli buffet breakfast is served daily. The Bistro Restaurant serves French influenced dishes and a bar serves cocktails.
Yoga is available at the Villa Galilee, as well as a sauna and spa tub. There is a flower garden and a rest area furnished with lounge chairs.

Distance to Villa Galilee is 200 kilometres, approximately 125 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
Shuttle service 'Nesher' is available 24 hours a day. A seven-seater van can be booked at the hotel's front desk up to one day before the flight. Taxis wait at level G, terminal 3, and the fare to the city centre is around 90 NIS or 150 USD. Fares are higher at night. Sheruts (shared taxis) have fixed rates per passenger. Visitors are advised to use registered taxis only. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Sherut (shared) taxis are popular for exploring Israel. Fares are about 5 NIS per person, and the minibuses accommodate up to 10 passengers. Safed is compact and easily explored by foot.
