Styled after a 17th century country house, the Herbert Room Restaurant serves specialties such as Pan-Fried Veal Medallions and Wild Mushrooms with garlic and mustard cream. Toffee-colored easy chairs and exposed brick keep the Cellar Bar warm and inviting. A library, drawing room and conservatory create a sense of home, with comfortable furnishings, al fresco dining on a terrace and crackling fires. The Pembroke Room holds up to 14 delegates for intimate meetings and functions. Mountain vistas and walking paths surround the hotel, and tennis and croquet are available on site. The hotel can arrange a private gillie for fishing jaunts.
