Knossos Beach Hotel and Bungalows is located on the northeast coast of Crete, Greece, directly on a private sandy beach, 500 metres from the coastal village of Kokkini Han. The hotel is 10 kilometres from Heraklion International Airport and 12 kilometres from the island's capital, Heraklion.
Hotel Features.
Nestled in a natural bay, the whitewashed stone bungalows and suites of the Knossos Beach Hotel and Bungalows are surrounded by verdant gardens. There are two outdoor pools, one heated in low season, and there is a separate children's pool. Multilingual staff can arrange currency exchange, massage treatments, and tour assistance. The hotel offers complimentary parking.
Complimentary buffet breakfast is available each morning. The main restaurant at Knossos Beach Hotel serves Cretan and Mediterranean specialities in a contemporary dining room, with panoramic sea views. The lobby bar features a fireplace and opens out onto a terrace overlooking the ocean. It serves coffee, juices, and sandwiches. Coffee, cocktails, and snacks are served at the poolside bar, which hosts a disco in the evenings.

Driving Directions
From Heraklion Airport (HER):
Distance to Knossos Beach Hotel and Bungalows is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
There is a taxi service that runs from the airport bus station to the hotel. The hotel can arrange airport transfer (surcharge).
Getting around.
Crete is best explored by car. Buses are inexpensive and depart frequently for destinations throughout the island. Crete's bus company KTEL connects to the larger cities and more remote areas. Many of the villages can be accessed by boat taxis and small ferries. Taxis wait at ranks around Heraklion. Fares are reasonable but travellers should ensure the meter is used.
Driving directions. From Heraklion Airport: Take the road straight ahead. Turn left onto the national road E75 following 'to Aghios Nikolaos'. Continue driving on the E75 for three kilometres, until you reach an EKO petrol station. About 200 metres past the petrol station, take a right turn following 'Old National Road (2)', the second E75 underpass. Drive along the narrow road that will take you directly to Kokkini Hani. Knossos Beach Hotel is located to your left, on the seafront.
