The Seehotel Schlierseer Hof is located in the lake town of Schliersee, Germany, within two kilometres of the town centre and the train station. Spitzigsee ski area is situated 12 kilometres away and the centre of Munich is 54 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving Directions
From Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC):
Distance to the Seehotel Schlierseer Hof is 85 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 and S1 S-Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes for Munich's main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. From here take the BOB (Bayerische Oberlandesbahn) from Munich main train station to Bayrischzell, alighting at Schliersee. Alternatively taxis are available and cost approximately 80 EUR to the hotel. All prices subject to change.
Getting around.
A hire car is advisable for exploring the surrounding area.
Driving directions.
From the airport, take the A92 motorway to Munich until junction München- Nord.
Change onto the A99 motorway in the direction of Salzburg.
Head onto the A8 in the direction of Salzburg and exit at Weyarn.
Head in the direction of Miesbach on the B472 highway and then take the B307 towards Schliersee.
Once in Schliersee the hotel is on the right directly on the shores of the lake.
