The Colosseo Erlebnishotel, designed in ancient Roman architecture-style, is housed 200 metres from Europa-Park theme park in Rust, Germany. The Black Forest is within seven kilometres of the hotel. A train station shuttle bus stops directly in front of the hotel.

Twinkling lights and fountains grace the open-air, Roman-style piazza, surrounded by the hotel's outdoor pool and replica Coliseum ruins. Complimentary buffet-style breakfasts are served each morning. Stone walls, arches and wooden furnishings decorate Medici, an a la carte restaurant serving Italian and international fare. A buffet restaurant and a bar complete the dining options.
