Getting there.
There are taxi stands in front of the terminal. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 45 EUR. Rostock Hauptbahnhof train station is four kilometres from the hotel. There is a regular bus shuttle service to Rostock connecting with departures and arrivals of scheduled flights.
Getting around.
The centre of Rostock is compact, flat and easy to explore on foot. A car is recommended for travelling further afield.
Driving directions. From Rostock-Laage Airport: Follow the A19, exiting at Rostock Sued. Drive towards the city centre on the B110 and follow signs for Rostocker Hof. Continue driving along August-Bebel-Strasse following signs for Zoo/Stadthaller/Sudstadt/Centrum. Turn right by the DGB Union building into Herrmann Strasse. This becomes Schwaansche Strasse and the hotel is on the right-hand side.
