The Waldhotel Kreuztanne is located in Sayda, Germany, in the central Ore Mountains. It is within 55 kilometres of Dresden and 130 kilometres from the city of Prague.

The Waldhotel is built in typical simply decorated Alpine style, and is situated on a mountainside with views over the surrounding meadows and forests. The Kreuztanne's Erzgebirgsrestaurant opens out onto a grill-garden and terrace and serves regional and international dishes. From Dresden Airport (DRS):
Distance to Waldhotel Kreuztanne is 60 kilometres, approximately 80 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
A taxi to the hotel from the airport costs 64 EUR. The airport has an underground railway station with shuttle trains to Dresden city centre. The S-Bahn station is located on the terminal building's lower level. The fare for a single ticket is around 2 EUR, and the journey time is 20 minutes. Taxis into Dresden city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. An airport coach departs every 30 minutes for Dresden city centre, and the fare is around 15 EUR. Bus numbers 77 and 97 run towards Dresden city centre every 10 minutes; alight at Infineon Nord and take a tram into the centre. The fare is about 2 EUR for a single ticket. The nearest train station to the hotel is Rechenberg-Bienenmuhle which is within six kilometres. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
The centre of Sayda is small and can be explored on foot. A car is recommended for exploring the further afield.
Driving directions. From Dresden Airport take Autobahn 4 in the direction of Dresden. Take Exit 75 onto the B101 at Siebenlehn in the direction of Freiberg, Brand Erbisdort and Grossharmannsdorf. Turn off the B101 500 metres inside the village limit of Sayda. In Sayda follow signs to Freidbach and Kreuztanne.
