Location.
The Domaine de Brandois is located in extensive grounds near the village of La Mothe Achard, France. The sandy beaches at Les Sables D'Olonne are 20 kilometres away, and La Rochelle is about 60 kilometres to the south.
Hotel Features.
An impressive French chateau complete with turrets and dramatic gabled windows, the Domaine de Brandois is set in 45 acres of rolling parkland. Built in 1869, the castle has an orchard and priory, where some of the guestrooms are situated.
The Brandois restaurant specialises in local regional cooking, reflecting the rhythm of the seasons. Breakfast is provided for a supplement.
A conference room and several small meeting rooms are available for functions, with a banquet service on request.
Bicycles are available for guests' use. The hotel's heated outdoor swimming pool is open from June to September, and there is golfing and horse riding nearby.
