Within the Zadar region are five national parks, including Paklenica, Krka and Plitvice Lakes, that sit within 100 kilometers of the hotel. Zadar Airport can be reached 12 kilometers away.
The Club Funimation Borik is comprised of two main buildings linked by a connecting gallery where guests will find an information centre and souvenir shop. The resort caters to children, offering an adventure world with adjacent playground and children's pool.
Opened in 2005, the hotels's Acquapura Thalasso and Spa Centre Borik is one of Croatia's largest, covering just over 2,000 square meters. The centre offers skin treatments with seawater and algae in the wellness area, a sauna, indoor pool, fitness centre and gymnastics area.
Adults can head for the gym, before winding down with a drink from the poolside bar. The resort is home to beach volleyball courts, football fields and six tennis courts. The hotel also houses the Borik Acquapura swimming complex with indoor and outdoor pools, a kids' water chute pool and additional chutes (fees apply). There is also a water sports centre on the beach adjacent to the resort, where boats and canoes can be rented.
The 258 guestrooms and suites at the Funimation feature Mediterranean-style yellow decor and wooden floors. All are air-conditioned and include satellite television, in-room safes. Some have balconies. The all-inclusive room rate option includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks taken with meals, as well as drinks at the bar until 11:00 PM.
